I'm in trouble...

Here is a picture of Katelynn's behavior chart from school last week. Everyday I have to sign it and send it back in her folder. Notice something out of place?

Yeah, the little punk FORGED my INITIALS on her paper! Can you believe it?! I am in so much trouble when these kids are teenagers!

Ward Talent Show

Our ward had a talent show, the Spring Sing. I signed Michael up to dance for it. He chose the song
Boogie Fever". He said, "I want the one at the end of 'Despicable Me'." When we got there, the girls were saying they wanted to dance too, so I asked Michael if it would be okay if the girls were his back-up dancers. He was okay with that. The kids' dance moves crack me up! I forgot to take Michael's flip-flops off, so he kept stopping to put them back on!

I sang "On My Own" from Les Mis. I totally messed up in several spots! It was still okay. It was a little out of my comfort zone, because I usually don't sing Broadway. It was fun, though.

Multiple Joys Picnic

We went to the annual Spring Picnic for Multiple Joys, the club here in Phoenix for families with high-order multiples (triplets & higher). The kids had a lot of fun. They had a bouncy slide & bounce house, plus snowcones. That is heaven for a 5 year old, right?!

Waiting for the group photo to be taken

Drawrings

I just love Michael's drawings! I know I gush about them all the time, but they are so good! I especially love that space one. I think the spelling word he had to use was "cool". Ha ha! What an imagination!

This one is Emma's. It cracks me up how she started doing it 'normal', then just went wild with the colors.

Famous Dave's

We went to Famous Dave's with some friends to celebrate a friend's birthday. I had the girls take some pictures for me.

I thought this sign was fun.

Silly Emma...

 Hi, Natalie!

The kids with the pig.

A fun shot of the girls. Oh, and I think it must be a rule that the first time a shirt is worn kids *have* to spill something red or brown on it. :)

Easter Pageant

This year we went to the Easter Pageant at the Mesa temple. Every year they do this huge, outdoor pageant around Easter depicting Christ's life. It's pretty neat. We went this year with the Hellewells. Before it started Scott took the kids to meet some of the actors.

Easter Sunday

The baskets. Every year the Easter Bunny hides the kids' baskets around the house for them to find. This year the kids found a note in their baskets saying that the Easter Bunny had a helper with him this year, so there was another basket hidden in the backyard for them. (My sister bought them baskets, too.)

Trying to get a decent picture after church..."trying" being the operative word.

Easter dinner at Aunt Cecilia's house. Love the pic of Emma and the chocolate fountain.

LOL!

Saw this sign and HAD to take a picture of it.

Easter Party

Every year since we've lived in Arizona we have gone to Midwestern's Easter Egg Hunt. This year was no exception. Scott actually took the kids for the hunt and I met up with them later, because I had to be at the church to practice for our Easter program the next day. I sang a solo, Hallelujah by Hilary Abplanalp. (It is beautiful. You should check it out!)

Here are a few cute pictures I was able to snap after I got there.

A light at the end of the tunnel...

Scott is starting his FOURTH year of medical school!! These pictures were taken when he was taking one of his CBEs (clinical based exams). I didn't know they had been taken, so when the proofs came in the mail it was a total surprise for me. This might sound cheesy, but when I opened the envelope and saw these pictures of Scott in a cap and gown, I got kind of teary-eyed. It was a physical reminder that we are close to being DONE. Scott has worked so hard through these years, and I am so excited for when he graduates next Spring and becomes Dr. Robertson!! One more year, people. One more year!! Woot woot!!

Rainy Saturday

A while back we were supposed to go to the Multiple Joys family picnic, but it was called off due to rain. I know, right?! We live in PHOENIX! Anyway...we were disappointed, but we still wanted to do something fun as a family. We proposed the idea of going to McDonald's or Burger King, and the kids were SO excited because we hardly ever go there.

When we got out of the car at BK the kids were very excited that the windshield wipers stayed halfway up when we turned off the car, and loved the rainbow the rain made in the parking lot. Some people are easily entertained, I guess. Isn't it funny how excited kids can get about the little things in life that we just ignore?

They loved playing in the play area. I thought Jaime would appreciate this sign posted on the play structure. Yes, we did see something weird, in fact. THREE somethings. Very weird.

Next we went over to the mall. The kids were able to participate in Minnie's Masquerade Ball at the Disney Store. They decorated crowns, played a game, learned a dance, and had a little parade.

Then we went to the Lego store. Michael was proud of his 'Lego guys'. Notice, they are all wearing jet-packs. Very important, especially for the doctor. Emma liked the little lady she made.

We were lucky enough to happen upon a Lego build they were doing that day. Usually the Lego builds are once a month on a Tuesday night. (You should check that out if your kids are 6 or older. Free Legos?! Hecks Yeah! Anyway...) The kids were able to make a keep a Lego Bunny Rabbit.

After the mall we headed to a birthday party for a girl in Michael's class. The kids had a great time running around with their classmates.

So, although it started with a rain-out, it turned out to be a pretty good day!
