We're Home!

YAY! Katelynn was discharged from the hospital Friday afternoon. She was doing so well that they decided not to keep her until next Wednesday, like they had originally planned to. So, we spent one last night in Dallas so we would be well rested for the drive home. Now all we need to do is have a few follow-up appointments, plus Katelynn has to go to physical, occupational and speech therapy. We aren't sure yet exactly how many days a week that will be. We are so relieved that she has pulled through this and is happily home.

Thank you all so much for your fasting and prayers in her behalf. We know that she would not be here today if it wasn't for your great faith. The doctors are amazed at her progress, and we know that it is through many prayers and fasting for our family that she has made the huge strides she has.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

  1. I'm so glad you guys are home safe and sound. I was so worried about Katelynn. I don't what I would have done if she didn't pull through this. We love her so much! I'm sorry we couldn't stop in Texas. I wanted to but once we started looking at the extra costs for us being there I decided we should just go home. I'm kinda freaked out at the thousands of dollars we've spent in the last two months! I hope we can see all of you guys soon. I really miss you.
