Thankful Thursday

Two of my sisters-in-law started doing something on their blogs called "Thankful Thursday". Every Thursday they post a list of things they are grateful for that day. I thought it was a great idea, so now I'm jumping on the bandwagon. Here it goes:

1. I am thankful for our friends Mark and Shelley. They have been letting us stay at their house while we try to work out our housing situation. It has been such a blessing and we really appreciate their hospitality.

2. I am thankful for Scott. I am lucky to have such a great husband. He always tries to make me happy and is such a good father. I am glad that he is going to school, not to mention in a completely different field than he was in when we got married, just so that he can support our family and provide us with a good life. He does so much for me and the kids and I am truly blessed to be sealed to him.

3. Air conditioning. It's something you take for granted, but on a hot day it's a great thing to have.

4. The gospel. Lately I've been having a hard time, and I know that I would be having a worse time if it weren't for the knowledge I have of our Heavenly Father and His plan. I don't always do the things I know I'm supposed to be doing, yet He helps me anyway. I haven't necessarily been feeling like He has been paying attention to me at all lately, but when I really think about it I know that He has been. I just haven't been paying attention to Him.

Maybe "Thankful Thursday" was a good thing for me. It helped me step back and think about all the things I have to be grateful for. I encourage you to have your own "Thankful Thursday"!

  2. This is about the "memory game":

Like you said there are so many awesome memories! The one that comes to mind right now is when we went over to the park and went sledding down that hill on that dinky inner tube! Oh oh and Halloween last year was fun too! Lots to cherish forever!
