And the winner is...

Thanks to all those (four people) who entered my first ever giveaway! I'm a little disappointed that so few people entered, but that just makes the chances of winning higher for those who entered, right?! SO, I will leave you in suspense no longer. The winner of the fabulous scrapbooking stickers is, drumroll, please......................

MaRi !!!

Congratulations! E-mail me your address so I can send you your loot. We are actually leaving for Oregon tomorrow, so I may not get it to you until after Thanksgiving. (I didn't think about that when setting the end date of my giveaway. Ooops.)

I am excited. Scott has two weeks off for Thanksgiving break, so we are going up to Oregon to spend Turkey Day with his family. On the way up we are going to stop and spend a day or two in San Francisco. I've never been there, so I'm way excited. Although, with the current political climate in San Fran I'm not sure if that is the best place my little heterosexual Mormon family of five should be hanging out. Don't want to get beat up or anything. But, we should be fine as long as we don't rush a line of protesters. We plan on going to the California Academy of Sciences, which is a planetarium, aquarium, rainforest & natural history museum all rolled into one. We also might cruise the piers, and head down Lombardi Street, the crookedest street in the world, or atleast in the country. Of course, Scott said he thinks the crookedest street in the world is Wall Street. But, that is another post. ;)

So, if you don't see any posts for a while, don't worry about us. We are just out of town for a couple of weeks having fun with Scott's fam. While there my s-i-l Jaime is hosting a baby shower for another s-i-l Melissa, and that should be lots of fun. I love baby showers! We will also do some fun stuff with Grandma and Grandpa Robertson and the kids' cousins. "See" you later.

Have a great Thanksgiving!!

  1. Have fun in SF! I grew up close to there and just love it! You may go see the Exploritorium (http://www.exploratorium.edu/). I remember liking it a lot as a kid, but not sure if our kids are old enough yet. Pier 39 and the sea lions that live there is cool and of course I love Alcatraz, but it may not be as cool with the little ones. Citypass.com has a pass for several things together, but if you aren't going to them all, it's not such a good deal. Ooh, don't forget Ghiradelli square either. Better yet, just take me with you!!

  4. We aren't sure if we will be able to finalize that soon. We were told that the attorney may be out for the next couple weeks, so I'm not holding my breath on having anything happen while you guys are here. Although, knowing my luck we'll finalize the day after you go home! Booooo!
