The Greatest Gift

Today while I was checking my e-mail, Emma came into the room and said, "Mommy, Mommy! Come here. I have a present for you. It's all wrapped up." She pulled me by the hand and showed me this:



"Open it! Open it!" she said.

Inside the blanket, wrapped up, were Katelynn and Michael. They continued this game for quite a while, taking turns being the 'present' and the 'wrapper & Mommy-retriever'. Then they told me to be the present, and took turns hiding in the blanket with me, wrapping me up, and hiding in the other room while we were wrapped. They wanted us all to wrap up and hide until Daddy came home as a surprise present. It was time to get ready for bed so I nixed that idea, but it was a nice thought.
