Halloween Party

On Friday night we went to a fun Halloween Party with some of our best friends from school. We had a lot of fun. It was awesome for the guys to be able to take a break from studying, and we all had some good laughs.

The pinata was hilarious! When we told the kids that you hit the pinata with a stick, they just looked at us like we were nuts. Then Scott said, "Wanna hear a secret?! This pumpkin is full of candy. When it breaks open candy goes flying out and you get to pick it up." Then Michael started licking his lips and saying, "Mmmm. Candy. Yummm." Then Katelynn walked up to the pinata and kicked it! Ha ha ha!

When it was my turn, Emma & Katelynn were pulling on the pinata rope so I couldn't hit it, and they thought it was the funniest thing they'd ever done.

My little fairy princesses.

The cutest pirate you've ever seen.

The Scotts duel it out! Who do you think is going to win?

These kids really love each other. They posed like this on their own.

The whole family. If you can't tell, I am dressed up as Hermione Granger from Harry Potter. No, I do not usually wear my hair *that* pouffy! I still need to make my Prefect & S.P.E.W. badges, though. Oh, and want to hear something awesome? I made Michael's pirate vest myself! Woo hoo! Granted, it involved, like, 2 rows of stitching, but hey! It's a start, right?! And do you like the parrot on his shoulder? Hee hee hee. The girls really wanted to be fairy princesses this year, and I made the girls' tutus. (Thanks for the help, Pam!) One last thing...don't you think Scott is the cutest cowboy ever?! Ow ow!

Pictures of our friends who came to the party all dressed up in their costumes.

Thanks for a fun time, guys! Kristen & Rob, you were great hosts! It was an awesome party.

Oh, and thanks for letting me steal pictures from you, Kristin & Ashley! My pictures=not good.

  1. I'm pretty sure that somewhere I still have a particular photo from when Scott and I were dating. Actually, it's from before we were dating (not that that's relevant). I went to the state fair one day with him and like six other guys, and we did one of those old western photos. I think Scott was dressed as an old western cowboy in it. I'll have to see if I can still find it, and then scan it and email it to you.

  2. You'll never guess but David was a pirate too this year! Michael makes a great pirate he looks so cute in his costume! The girls too. Their tutus are adorable.

Comments make me smile. :D
