Last month the kids finished up their Soccer Tots class. The teacher was really good with the kids and they had a lot of fun. They played a bunch of games to just kinda get the kids familiar with ball handling, following directions, team play, etc. I think I will get them signed up for an actual team as soon as I can. I know that they had a blast.
When I was in Spokane this past weekend I went to my nephew Ronnie's soccer game. He's 5. It was so funny because there weren't really any rules and there was no keeping score. The kids on either team just ran after the ball going their directions. Even when it went off the field they all just ran after it and got the ball back to the field. It was very simple yet all the kids were just having a "ball"! I'm sure watching the kidlets would be fun too!
