New Year's Eve

On New Year's Eve we got in the car to go get pizza and told the kids that we were going to a party...at our house!

I think Michael must be doing his "Edward" impression. Either that, or he doesn't want to get in the car.

Emma doesn't look too happy about it either.

At least Katelynn is smiling!

Upon arriving at the party, we put the pizza (Papa Murphy's...YUM!) in to cook. It is a tradition in Scott's family to have pizza on New Year's Eve....and Christmas Eve...and All Hallow's Eve. Am I sensing a trend here?

Then, we made party hats and chowed down!

Looks like the girls are getting their fill. I love the chocolatey faces!

Another tradition is that on N.Y.E you can drink all the "Dragon's Blood" (sparkling red soda) you want! The kids were quite excited about that one. Soda is a special treat in our house.

Next it was time for games. First, we went with Chutes & Ladders.

Then we played 'Disney Scene It' by just pushing 'All Play' over and over. They were pretty good at it! Michael was especially sharp at getting the puzzles right.

The night ended by watching the Ball Drop and the confetti flying in Times Square, then off to bed!

Happy New Year!!
