The first Friday evening of every month they have a special event at the children’s museum where you can go from 6-10pm for free. Back in November we took advantage of it and had a great time. We hadn’t been to there for a long time, so they had a long of new things there.
In one room they had a bunch of PVC pipe and connectors and things so you could build a little house out of the pipe.
In another room they had a bunch of blankets, clips and other things to make a huge blanket fort. Scott really got into helping out in that room. I teased him about it and he said, “Hey, if I’m going to be here I might as well have a good time!” Wise words.
We also went on the Climber that they have open now, which is like a huge, reinforced ‘treehouse’, with different tunnels and stuff. It’s neat. The kids enjoyed dancing to the music the DJ was playing while we were waiting in line to go on the Climber. Lately Michael’s been doing these break-dancing moves. He will move his feet really fast and spin on the floor and stuff. I dont’ know where he’s getting it from, but it’s really funny.
Looks like the kids had lots of fun!
