Growing up my Mom would make clatite (pronounced cla-tee-tay), which is a traditional Romanian dish passed down through the generations. She learned how to make it from her Mom, who learned it from her Mom, etc. They are pretty much the same thing as crepes. We would make them for breakfast, fill them with jelly and roll 'em up. Yum!

Every once in a while I get a hankerin' for clatite. One morning while making them I decided to take some pictures.

When my Mom came to visit I had her make clatite for us one morning, just so I could get a refresher course, 'cause I felt like mine weren't quite right. No one makes them like Mom makes them, right?!

  1. So are you going to share how to make them? They look yummy.

  2. Mmmmm!!!! Katelynn looks like she could do some damage with that canned cream! Hehe, it's a kid thing.

Comments make me smile. :D
